COUNTER:FORM

Counter:Form is an collaborative exhibition showcasing three years of work by graphic design students at the Frostic School of Art.

“For the past three years, our growth as designers has been shaped by the spaces around us-the negative spaces that define what is and reveal what could be. Counter:Form reflects the interplay between the knowledge we’ve inherited and the work we create. It is a declaration to counter conventions, to challenge the familiar, and form something entirely our own. This exhibition celebrates the push and pull of growth-an ongoing act of rebellion, reflection, and reinvention, as we take our place within and beyond these spaces.

EXHIBITION STATEMENT

INVITATION DESIGN

Part of designing an exhibition was to design invitations for the event. Grant and his colleague, Rory Choker, designed an invitation that reflected the ideas and styles of the exhibition. When folded, the two dots form the colon of the title. When unfolded, the title and statement is revealed.

The invitations were printed on the three different colors that were used throughout all of the exhibition’s identity.
